Campus Linnanmaa

It’s the main campus of the institution, sharing facilities with the University of Oulu. It is located in the Linnanmaa district, about 20 minutes north of the city centre.

Campus Oulainen

The city of Oulainen is located about an hour away by train from Oulu. The campus in this city also hosts classes from the OAMK School of Health and Social Assistance, and is located next to the Oulaskangas Hospital. However, this campus does not usually have many exchange students.

Linnanmaa

Linnanmaa is a university suburb in the north of Oulu, main home for both the OAMK and the University of Oulu. It offers a calm environment focused on education, with easy access to academic facilities and modern student services. It has an active student community and various housing options close to campus.

Oulu Center (Keskusta)

The centre of Oulu, known as Keskusta, is the heart of the city and offers a more lively urban life. Here you will find a large number of shops, restaurants, nightlife options and cultural events. It is ideal for those looking for the energy of the city and having a good connection with any of the institution's two Oulu campuses.

Raksila

It is a neighbourhood located halfway between the downtown area and the Kontinkangas Campus. It has a quieter atmosphere, but it has good public transport connections and bike paths to reach different places in the city. It has some green areas to enjoy the outdoors and sports complexes to exercise.

Student residences near OAMK

The institution itself does not have halls of residence, but this type of accommodation is offered by the Northern Finland Student Accommodation Foundation, PSOAS. This foundation has places for local and international students, in buildings spread across different parts of the city, some of which are located near the OAMK. You will also find private student halls of residence. These mostly offer single or shared rooms in shared flats.

• If you become a member of the Student Union of the institution, called OSAKO, you will be able to take part in a large number of activities, trips and clubs for different hobbies.
